Daniel Tan has more than 15 years‘ experience in landfill engineering projects and project management of large scale projects. His involvement has ranged from geotechnical investigations, stability assessments, landfill liner assessment, concept design to detailed design, preparation of tender and contract documents, site supervision and specialist construction quality assurance of landfill lining systems.
Daniel has acted as Engineer’s Representative and Assistant Engineer’s Representative on a number of major landfill construction contracts. His practical experience includes operation of landfills with cell phasing works, design and management of day-to-day engineering tasks such as surface water, leachate, gas control and access arrangements.
Daniel’s expertise includes research and development, manufacturing quality control and assessment of HDPE, LLDPE and PVC liners. He has provided specialist technical advice on landfill liner systems across the Asia/Pacific and Middle East regions. He has also project managed large scale projects in the capacity of Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager.
Daniel Tan is a Team Leader for the T+T Environmental Engineering & Management discipline, and is based in the Wellington office.
