John leads the Talent & Recruitment within Tonkin + Taylor’s People + Capability team. He is responsible for all recruitment across our six New Zealand offices.

Enthusiastic and driven, John is a great “people person” who loves a challenge and is a valued, supportive mentor within our company.

T+T operates 3 main disciplines: Engineering, Environmental and Business Services.

John’s forte is the complete, end to end recruitment lifecycle, from planning through to the execution of recruitment strategy, while at the same time leading and partnering with leaders and key stakeholders within T+T’s various groups and offices.

He sources and recruits talent from all over the world, via networking and using sourcing tools including social media.
