Lean is a Principal of Tonkin + Taylor and has more than 25 years’ consulting experience specialising in contaminated land assessment and management.
Her experience crosses many business sectors, including large infrastructure and brownfield site developments, oil and gas, defence and industry. Lean’s involvement in these projects has included auditing of these facilities for environmental effectiveness, design and implementation of contaminated land site and water quality investigations and monitoring programmes, human health and environmental risk assessment covering a range of contaminants, remedial design involving the implementation of strategies that minimise environmental impacts, procurement of regulatory consents, peer review and presentation of expert evidence.
She is a suitably qualified and experienced practitioner under the Resource Management (National Environmental Standard for Assessing and Managing Contaminants in Soil to Protect Human Health) Regulations 2011.
