Peter Cochrane is a Senior Environmental Scientist and Discipline Director - Science for Tonkin + Taylor.

An MSc (Hons), his specialist area is water management, particularly the treatment of stormwater and the assessment of catchment-scale hydrological changes brought about by land use changes.

He has led multidisciplinary hydrological investigations, prepared assessments of environmental effects and stormwater management for discharge consent applications and advised territorial local authorities, government agencies and private clients on consent conditions for stormwater discharges.

Peter designed stormwater treatment systems for residential and industrial developments and roading projects. He provided peer review advice and expert evidence on stormwater management throughout New Zealand.
