Tony is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Project Manager based in our Christchurch office.
He is a Chartered Professional Engineer with more than 25 years' experience in Civil and Geotechnical engineering. Tony worked extensively in collaborative design and design-build teams on large projects as well as many private developments and large public infrastructure projects in New Zealand and Asia-Pacific, including Australia, Malaysia (where he lived for more than four years), Vietnam, Hong Kong (where he lived for one-and-a-half years), Fiji, The Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, the United Arab Emirates, and, Missouri and Illinois.
Tony is a chartered professional engineer and has recently completed a Diploma of Managerial Excellence in Engineering and Construction with the New Zealand Institute of Management. Modules which are taught as part of this diploma course include lean construction, high-performance collaborative construction teams, collaborative and continuous improvement, team building, leadership, supply chain management, customer relationship and performance measurement for construction projects.
Tony is a Fellow of Engineering NZ and former elected management committee member, treasurer and vice-chair of the New Zealand Geotechnical Society (NZGS).
