An experienced design and transportation manager for multi-disciplinary, multi-consultancy infrastructure projects, Chris brings a wealth of international design and project management experience to the table, including earned value analysis.
As T+T’s Sector Director – Transportation, Chris is tasked with the delivery of a number of key strategies and priorities to grow our business. He has been heavily involved in partnering discussions and positioning for a number of projects, with a variety of partners, to make sure T+T is well positioned for success. Consequently, he has been instrumental in developing a strong pipeline of work, helping to grow the T+T transport sector during a challenging period, which included the change of NZ Government in 2018. Chris has also worked to grow Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency’s recognition of T+T’s capabilities and contributions to some of this country’s largest and most ambitious infrastructure projects.
Chris’ ability to develop and grow new and existing relationships with public sector clients, Contracting clients and partner organisations has in no small way helped T+T to become part of strong, competitive teams going forward, while securing our place on significant and challenging projects. His management and delivery of key bids speaks to Chris’ considerable technical, commercial and project management skills, as well as his unwavering future focus.
A Chartered Professional Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, particularly highway/roading engineering design and construction, Chris is a passionate advocate for effective, integrated multi-modal transportation systems. He has managed many high-profile, legacy transport infrastructure projects, including Auckland’s Advanced Bus Study and investigation of the potential to implement Light Rail, the design of the Central Queensland Transport Network Reconstruction Programme (TNRP) and the NZTA Puhoi to Wellsford Road of National Significance.
