Chris is a senior environmental consultant, environmental and waste strategy specialist in Tonkin + Taylor Environmental and Engineering consultancy with over 20 years’ experience in waste and broader sustainability and environmental management issues. Specialist areas include waste strategy, sustainability, waste flow and cost modelling, Better Business Case process, business waste reduction initiatives, organic waste diversion and environmental policy.
Chris has been involved with delivering and facilitating a large number of waste infrastructure/technology, sustainability, environmental strategy and waste data projects. Examples include waste strategies for the Government of Uzbekistan/UNDP, regional and local strategies across Australia and New Zealand, and a wide range of option and strategy studies covering topics such as data, organic waste, C&D waste, waste contracts, contaminated land and hazardous waste management. Chris has also been involved with major infrastructure construction projects as environmental manager and as part of a Construction Alliance Management team.
