Mark is a Water Resources Engineer based in our Tauranga office and has more than 20 years' experience.

Mark’s background is largely in hydrological and hydraulic investigations and analyses. His recent experience spans urban stormwater and regional river systems. His role included conducting assessments, application of methodologies and seeking mitigation options for a variety of predominantly flood related issues. He specialises in flood risk assessment, and has a sound background in engineering hydraulics and hydrology.

Mark has a BE (Civil) and an ME (Engineering Hydraulics). He is a Chartered Professional Engineer in NZ and is on the NZ register of International Professional Engineers. He is a full member of IPENZ, belongs to WaterNZ (where he is on the Modelling Group committee) and is a member of the Rivers Group (current committee member and immediate past chair).
