Richard is an air quality scientist and Certified Air Quality Professional with over 20 years of experience assessing environmental impacts of air discharges in New Zealand, Fiji, Australia and the United Kingdom. He has been extensively involved in assessing the discharges to air from industrial and transport related projects, undertaken science related projects for regional councils, as well as regional air quality policy reviews for industrial and council clients.
His experience includes the dairy manufacturing, mining and quarrying, waste management, manufacturing, urban development, land transport, rail, power and agricultural sectors.
Richard has significant experience working with legal teams and other technical specialists, and routinely provides expert evidence at Council hearings and to the Environment Court.
Richard holds a MSc. (Hons) in Environmental Science, is a CASANZ member and a Certified Air Quality Professional (CAQP).
