Richard is a business leader with over 30 years’ experience in the private and public sectors. He has an extensive background in business leadership, commercial management, governance, strategic planning, procurement, consultation, project management, stakeholder engagement, transport planning, transport modelling, demand forecasting, development of land use/transportation assessments, and travel demand management. He leads complex transportation projects involving multi-modal options, changing land use, and a diverse range of stakeholders.
Richard is a member of the T+T Group Leadership Team, with responsibility for leading the development and implementation of our Globally Connected strategy. He is also involved with the delivery of a number of our major transport projects. In 2018/19, Richard was seconded to the NZTA as Project Director for the Auckland Light Rail project. In 2019/2020, Richard led the T+T business in Melbourne, Victoria.
