Tonkin + Taylor designed Damtec’s structure and terminology to align with the New Zealand Dam Safety Guidelines and Regulations, building it specifically to satisfy the: 

  • 12 elements of recommended practice for a Dam Safety Management System (DSMS)
  • Clause 10 to 19 requirements of the Regulations for a Dam Safety Assurance Programme (DSAP)

Alongside the Cirro team, we can provide end-to-end solutions to suit your needs, including supplying leading hardware to fit your location and install requirements.

Although we can install any devices you need, Damtec is device-agnostic, accommodating your existing devices or those installed by any provider.

2. Specialist support 

Damtec’s developer, Tonkin + Taylor, is among New Zealand’s biggest environmental and engineering consultancies. We’ve provided dam design and safety services since 1967. 

We onboard and train your staff to ensure you get the most out of Damtec. 

We also provide wraparound dam specialist services if needed, including safety advice, engineering, and certification by Recognised Engineers.
