International Association of Food Protection Annual Meeting 2025

One of the world’s leading gatherings on food safety, bringing together experts to address pressing challenges in the sector.
Andrew Pearson, Senior Environmental Consultant at Tonkin + Taylor, will present in session S25: Managing Chemical Hazards in Water Reused in Food Production and Processing. His talk, Characterisation of Chemical Hazards in Alternative Water Sources Used in Food Production, will explore risks with recycled water in food systems and the importance of sound risk management.
Andrew is a specialist in chemical fate, exposure and human toxicology, with over two decades’ experience spanning government and consultancy. Since joining Tonkin + Taylor in 2021, he has applied his expertise to a wide range of environmental and food safety challenges, including drinking water risk management and emerging contaminant assessments.
