QuakeCoRE 2025
QuakeCoRE brings together researchers, economists, iwi, and resilience leaders across Aotearoa and we’re proud to be facilitating two workshops this year. Our Technical Director, Maxim Millen, is co-hosting a cross-industry and academic workshop on automation in engineering design and analysis—bringing together researchers and practitioners to explore quality assurance, risk management, and how to thrive in the age of automation. James Russell, Sector Director – Finance + Insurance, and Virginie Lacrosse, Principal Engineer – Natural Hazards, will also lead a workshop on the National Liquefaction Model. Funded by the Natural Hazards Commission – Toka Tū Ake, this model represents a significant leap forward in planning and delivering seismic resilience.
