Join us in Rotorua for Stormwater 2025, where 25 years of progress and passion for stormwater management will be celebrated. With a focus on Kaupapa Māori, nature-based solutions, and the future of stormwater, this year’s conference offers a chance to connect, collaborate, and explore new approaches to some of our most pressing water challenges. Tonkin + Taylor will be presenting, learning, and engaging in conversations that support more resilient, sustainable communities.

Āpōpō Congress – 14 -16 May
Infrastructure shapes the way we live, connect, and thrive — and at this year’s Āpōpō Congress in Ōtautahi Christchurch, we’re joining a diverse community of professionals to explore what it truly means to deliver infrastructure value.
At this May Event, we are celebrating as named finalists for the Āpōpō Award’s for our contribution to Project Reclaim alongside Waitaki District Council, iwi, local communities, WM New Zealand, Fulton Hogan, Morrison Low and GHC Consulting.
From planners to policy experts, data analysts to engineers, the Congress brings together all those who work with infrastructure assets to tackle the challenges and opportunities ahead. Tonkin + Taylor is looking forward to contributing to the kōrero, sharing insights, and learning from others as we collectively seek to build infrastructure that reflects purpose, place, and long-term wellbeing.

Join this interactive workshop to explore the complexities of scope 3 GHG emissions, with relevant case studies. Speakers Emma Elbaum, Cheilo Manalo, Marta Karlik-Neale and Kevin Manalo will facilitate group discussions to answer strategic questions on scope 3 emissions, with all attendees having the opportunity to participate in each discussion.

- James Hughes – Managing Climate Risk: A Practical Workshop for Businesses and Asset Owners
Businesses and asset owners face increasing challenges in managing climate risk. This workshop will equip participants with the knowledge and tools to assess, plan for, and respond to both physical and transition climate risks. Facilitated by James Hughes and Gui Berringer this workshop will explore key frameworks for climate risk assessment, including scenario analysis with hands on activities and practical insights into effective climate risk management.
