His vast expertise includes highways, roads, tunnels, bridge foundations, ground improvements, land reclamation, port, wharf & marine infrastructure, piling works, diaphragm walls, retaining walls, numerical modelling and risk assessment among other aspects.
He has an outstanding track record of delivering cost-effective and innovative low geotechnical risk solutions on numerous large infrastructure projects in the Asia/Pacific region. He is highly respected for being a lateral thinker who delivers innovative and cost-effective solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative ethos underpin his success for many difficult infrastructure projects, including Melbourne Metro Rail Project, Northern Gateway Upgrade (Brisbane) and SH16 Causeway Upgrade (Auckland). Extensively published, with more than 40 papers, he has also been awarded more than ten technical excellence awards along with two international scholarships.
