Kate Williams is a highly regarded passionate communicator with exceptional stakeholder management skills. Her ability to engage strategically in a broad range of multi-functional areas was highlighted during the Canterbury Earthquakes.
Kate is deeply committed to her work with the public and her clients and was a senior advisor to the Minister for Earthquake Recovery, EQC and CERA on communication with affected homeowners and the public between 2010-2011.
Her contribution to the Canterbury Earthquake recovery was recognised in 2013 when she was awarded the Queen's Service Medal.
Kate is driven by the challenge of facilitating real engagement between people to improve outcomes. Kate is a strong believer in keeping it simple by providing people the right advice at the right time to achieve positive results. She has a rare ability to translate complex engineering and scientific information into real human impact and commercial consequences for clients.
Kate has a BSc (Earth Science) and an MSc (Geology and Earth Science).
