Rebecca Jackson named a finalist for the Women of Influence Awards
A big congratulations to Rebecca Jackson who has been named a finalist for the Women of Influence Awards for 2015. Rebecca has been nominated in the Diversity category for empowering women in engineering and associated disciplines.
The work that Rebecca has been nominated for is over and above her "day job" work as a senior environmental engineer at T+T. She is passionate about encouraging and supporting diversity within professional engineering, with a particular interest in retaining women as engineers and supporting others to develop their careers and skills sets. This nomination is well deserved by Rebecca who has been heavily involved in mentoring as well as IPENZ (Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand) and ACENZ (Association of Consulting Engineers New Zealand), just to name a couple.
See more about the awards here. The category winners and Supreme Award winner will be revealed at the Women of Influence Awards dinner on 4 November 2015. We wish Rebecca the best of luck at the awards!
