How the best ideas win: the role of collaboration in successful innovation – A T+T white paper on alliancing, partnering, and design and build relationships
Collaboration and innovation are words so frequently used in the consultancy trade that it’s easy to forget their value. But it’s the defining of both in terms of the actions they represent that reveals the gold.
For our first white paper we’ve taken time to unpack the concept of collaboration and its role in the process of innovating. We illustrate the how and what of collaboration and describe how it helps us to identify and apply the best processes, techniques or materials for the job.
We use examples from our recent successes with the NZ Transport Agency’s Well-Connected and Memorial Park Alliances to demonstrate the relationship between collaboration and critical innovation success factors such as timing, cost and quality.
The white paper is the first step in a new initiative. Our intention is to share more of our thoughts and research on the things our clients need and want to know - and which support their operations.
Because our best work is produced as a result of genuine and consistent collaboration with our staff, project partners and clients, we’re very keen to hear all your feedback and comments. This will have to be the old fashioned way as our website is in the process of re-development and there’s no convenient box for you to comment in right now. Please phone us on 03 361 0307. We’ll be in touch soon.
