Simonne Eldridge - T+T's First 'Double Fellow'
Simonne Eldridge, T+T’s Executive Leader – Clients and Technical Director - Environmental Engineering and Management, has joined New Zealand’s elite group of double Fellows.
In Auckland last night, Simonne was inducted as a Fellow of the UK’s prestigious Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). An active member of ICE since 1990, Simonne became an ICE Chartered Engineer in the mid 90s, and a Professional Reviewer while working in Hong Kong in the late 1990s – a role she has continued to hold since then while working across Australia and New Zealand.
In April 2016, Simonne became T+T’s first woman Engineering NZ Fellow. ICE Director General Nick Baveystock travelled from the UK to hand out this year’s Fellowships as part of an Australasian roadshow.
Needless to say, T+T is thrilled to see Simonne and her work honoured in such a fantastic way. Our heartfelt congratulations also go to T+T geotechnical engineer Jen Smith, who received her membership of ICE, as well as becoming an ICE Chartered Engineer.
