T+T foundation signatory to Diversity Accord
Tonkin + Taylor (T+T) is proud to announce that we, along with our colleagues in the New Zealand engineering community, have committed to advancing diversity and inclusion by becoming an official signatory of the newly launched Diversity Agenda Accord.
T+T Managing Director Doug Johnson says:
“As a founding member, we are proud to sign the Diversity Agenda Accord. In signing up, we recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion, and acknowledge that there is work to be done to ensure that we are held to account by our peers to enable a more inclusive working environment within our industry. By working together on this, companies are able to focus on the greater good to the engineering and architecture industries. Our staff are the most valuable assets we have, and by signing the Accord we are standing up and being publicly accountable to them, and to our external networks, about our efforts and progress”
T+T is working on a policy and programmes to support the importance of diversity and inclusion - we recognise that we can always do better. We are deeply committed to doing our part and are ready to embark on the journey to make engineering in New Zealand inclusive and representative for all.
